Justin Lee Miller

A versatile baritone, Justin is comfortable singing in a variety of styles and venues, including concerts, musical theater, and opera. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Musical Theater Department and studied voice with acclaimed mezzo-soprano Shirley Verrett. Lately, Justin has performed in several productions of the musical Ragtime, including the critically acclaimed production at the Paper Mill Playhouse. He also opened the new production of The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas, directed by Harold Prince. This year he is working on the new Francesca Zambello production of Porgy and Bess at L.A. Opera and the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The Gershwin opera is one of his favorite pieces. He can be heard on the new Decca recording with the Nashville Symphony singing the roles of "Jim" and "the Undertaker," and in 2005, he made his debut in the role of "Porgy" at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, Italy.
